Alec really liked Bushman's DIY TT (seen at DIY page here at this site) so he made his own version of it using the platter and bearing from a Connoisseur. The tonearm is an Origin Live OL1 (full mods) with Goldring 1042 mm cartridge. The motor is the Origin Live Ultra motor and speed controller. Alec says the sound he is getting goes beyond his expectations.
