Getting rid of static around the audio system.
Particularly around the record player.

While I was messing around with diy speaker cables someone over at audioasylum/cables suggested that I try this anti-static spray as a final tweak . I found this product at my local grocery store among the laundry detergents. I lightly spray the carpets with it in the area surrounding the audio system. First thing I noticed is that the usual static I deal with while handling records at the turntable completely went away!
