Room Size (LxWxH): approx. 14 x 12 x 9

Room Comments/Treatments: Good room for ‘near field’ listening and also reading, which are the room’s exclusive functions. It’s a ‘parlor’ room in a ca. 1927 house, isolated (sort of) from adjoining rooms via French doors.

Music Preferences and Comments:

Music Used (Genre/Selections): Many types of acoustic and electric music. No absolute preferences per se, I like it all so long as it is performed with literacy and skill.

System Goals/Comments: I’m really happy with the synergy of this tube preamp and solid state amp.

System Strengths: Good balance, musically satisfying.

System Weaknesses: It sounds nothing like the only ‘cost is no object’ system I have ever heard (in the mastering room at the (U.S.) Sony CD manufacturing plant).
