Back to The Beatles on Parlophone

date: 4/23/06

The Beatles PMC 7027 ca. 1967

Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.  Mono Mix

Jacket, in VG condition shows dog-eared corners but with a straight readable spine and no seam splits.  There is a 1 inch tear into the back face of the jacket indicating there was a "scraping accident" at one time.  This is the laminated jacket with a glossy finish and excellent detail resolution in the photograph.

The inside gatefold shows minor discoloration toward the top from an intrusion of "dirt and grime". The edges are slightly better for the wear than is the outside of the jacket.

The "cutout" insert is intact and appears to be VG++ having been safely stored in the front slip of the gatefold and handled very little during the past 39 years.

Labels and matrix numbers.
