comments from Holger about the TD121 (  http://www.Thorens-Info.de  http://www.analogue-classics.com/ )

The Thorens TD 121 was introduced 1961 as a - slightly less expensive - brother to the TD 124.
Identical chassis and drive system, but one speed only. Features a pitch control like the TD 124, but no strobe.
Bearing diameter 10mm, not 14 like the 124. One-piece platter, weight 6 pounds. No clutch action.
European version with 220V motor, export version with special 110V motor.
