I got my TD 160 (sn-075979) from the town dump where they keep interesting objects to one side in case anyone wants them, I paid £2-00 for it. When I got it home I found it was in perfect working order the only problem with it was the wooden plinth which had been wet and had swelled and split at the corners, I tried to repair it but it was too far gone.As I am a sheetmetal worker I decided to make a new one out of metal, I fabricated it out of 3mm stainless steel and gave it a 3mm alloy base plate.I think it looks alright but you may not agree.
