Design: Influence is from the Shindo Garrard 301 plinth.

Specific gravity for Baltic Birch ply: .026 lb cu-in.

weight calculation: plinth plus armboard will weigh 23.25 lbs
with turntable mounted: 44 lbs (without tonearm or fasteners or feet)

Construction:

Stacked, pressed and glued layers of Baltic Birch ply
8 layers @ 1/2 inch thick = 4 inches high.
veneer shown is  cocobolo
Armboard is 2 stacked layers of Birch ply and one top layer of CF plate
