Here is a cheap way to get the table up off the floor and away from those nasty foot fall issues that disturb so many Thorens tables.

First wall shelf below.

(above) Nothing fancy.  Brackets are standard Home Depot product.  Material is 1/4 inch steel flat bar lag bolted to the studs behind the sheetrock (3 bolts each brkt).  Plenty sturdy for the weight it holds.  Two sheets of 1/2 inch birch plywood sandwiching a 2 inch layer of Y20 foam.  

(above) Shelf with some leather I have draped over it to cover it's ugliness.  Still ugly, but function is good.
