Notes on the Rolf Kelch Reference II:

Rolf is an engineer formerly employed at Thorens prior to that companies' financial failure. Shortly after its fall, Rolf acquired from the bank in Lahr, Germany a warehouse full of spare Thorens parts and then setup his new business to be known as Rolf Kelch Electronics.  One of the new projects for his company was to produce the Rolf Kelch Reference II turntable, which he envisioned as the 21st century evolution and upgrade of the original Thorens Reference from the 1970's.

For more information on the building of the Reference II see this link:  Rolf Kelch index
