Tonearm is the Thorens TP28

"This is my
first suspended sub chassis turntable.
A friend came round who is a
professional musician and music teacher.
He was so impressed with the
sound that he’s bought a vintage Thorens turntable himself!
I use an
Ortofon OM10 cartridge.
I have dampened the sub chassis with bitumen
pads, and also put a better (18mm thick) base.
I also changed the
platter mat to cork.
It now sounds wonderful."
