---Beogram 3000 Thorens.TD124 mkII

---First released in 1967, discontinued in 1968, as B&O developed their own player for the Beolab 5000 system.

Completely refurbished by Classic Audio in Denmark, under the supervision of Frede Kristensen.

SP1 and SP9 Gold pick ups rebuilt by -- Schallplattennadeln -- in Germany.

Owner: Stein X Leikanger, Oslo Norway.: "Mine has the ST/L 9" arm fitted with an SP9 Gold PU, --and-- the professional ST/P 12" arm they created for radio stations and studios. The latter is equipped with the first stereo PU made in Europe, the SP1. Classic Audio in Denmark completely refurbished the unit, and I had it painted in a bespoke color; Classic Audio's carpenter has also made Palisander armboards, one regular board for the 9" arm and a shouldered board for the 12" arm. To assist the swapping of arms, I've had RCA-connectors attached to the armboards."

---Classic Audio measured the turntable after the rebuild:

  • Speed variation: 0.10%

  • Wow 0.4%

  • Flutter: 0.02%

  • Rumble: unweighted -40dB
